EWER (Early Warning, Early Response) Project

Location: Kismayo, Dhobley, and surrounding districts in Jubaland State Beneficiaries: Women activists, youth leaders, local women’s organizations, marginalized communities, and civil society actors OverviewThe EWER Project enhances conflict prevention and response processes by strengthening inclusive Early Warning and Early Response (EWER) systems. The initiative focuses on generating and using data on emerging conflict dynamics and GBV risks to implement coordinated responses that foster safer civic spaces for women’s participation in peacebuilding processes. Key Achievements Published policy briefs to inform decision-makers on community needs and recommended actions.
PRESOCO (Peace, Resilience, and Social Cohesion) Project

Location: Lower Juba (Kismayo), Mudug, and Sanaag Beneficiaries: Community members, youth, women, and internally displaced persons (IDPs) OverviewThe PRESOCO Project was designed to enhance community resilience and social cohesion through peacebuilding initiatives, vocational training, and support for women’s leadership. The project aimed to bridge inter-clan divides, promote reconciliation, and improve economic opportunities for vulnerable groups. Key Achievements Collaborated with media outlets to amplify peacebuilding messages and community success stories.
