Volunteers are the heart of the Somali Women’s Studies Centre (SWSC) and play a vital role in advancing our mission to promote gender equality and empower women across Somalia. By volunteering with SWSC, you’ll have the opportunity to make a tangible impact, support grassroots initiatives, and work alongside a dedicated team committed to social change.

Ways to Get Involved:

• Community Outreach: Support our field team in organizing awareness campaigns, community dialogues, and training sessions.
• Event Assistance: Help coordinate special events such as International Women’s Day, the 16 Days of Activism, and community forums on gender equality.
• Advocacy and Communications: Assist in creating awareness materials, social media content, and advocacy campaigns that amplify the voices of Somali women and girls.
