Overview
The PRESOCO Project was designed to enhance community resilience and social cohesion through peacebuilding initiatives, vocational training, and support for women’s leadership. The project aimed to bridge inter-clan divides, promote reconciliation, and improve economic opportunities for vulnerable groups.

Key Achievements

  1. Promoted peacebuilding through inter-clan dialogues, resulting in strengthened community relations.
  2. Provided vocational training and small business support to empower women and youth economically.
  3. Enhanced community resilience through the establishment of savings and loan groups.
  4. Strengthened the role of women’s networks in reconciliation processes.
  5. Rehabilitated community resource centers to serve as hubs for peace and learning.
  6. Supported youth mentorship programs to promote non-violent conflict resolution.
  7. Organized cultural events to foster unity and celebrate peaceful coexistence.
  8. Distributed essential resources to support local livelihoods and reduce conflict over scarce resources.
  9. Strengthened peace committees to mediate disputes and prevent violent incidents.
